The McIntosh Creek Farm Story
Our daffodil farm began in 2022 with a simple idea: to grow something that makes people happy after a long winter. We chose daffodils because they’re tough, dependable, and impossible not to smile at. They are the perfect ambassadors of spring.
Our fields sit at the intersection of Middleline Road, one of the oldest roads in Saratoga County, and Gordon Creek, which flows toward the Village of Ballston Spa where it meets the Kayaderosseras Creek. The farmhouse was originally constructed in 1850, and our family’s roots on the farm date back to 1912. For many years, the farm was home to apple orchards, including many McIntosh trees that inspired the name of the farm.
We are grateful that we can welcome families, photographers, and flower lovers to walk the rows, cut their own bouquets, and enjoy the beauty of spring in Upstate New York.
